Paphos car fire damages vehicle

Vehicle set ablaze overnight

A Paphos car fire broke out in the early hours of the morning, destroying part of a vehicle belonging to a 31-year-old man.

The fire erupted at around 1:15am while the car was parked in an area of Paphos.

Emergency services respond

According to Police, officers attended the scene to conduct initial examinations, while members of the Fire Service worked to extinguish the blaze.

The fire caused extensive damage to the front part and engine of the vehicle.

Scene sealed for investigation

The area was cordoned off to allow further investigations to be carried out later in the morning by both Police and the Fire Service, in order to determine the cause of the fire.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Paphos is investigating the incident.
