Partly cloudy skies with occasional rain
Today, Cyprus will experience partly cloudy weather with the possibility of isolated showers. Winds will blow from southwest to northwest, moderate to strong at 4–5 Beaufort, reaching very strong gusts of 5–6 Beaufort in the south, according to the Meteorological Department.
The sea will be rough at times, while daytime temperatures will reach around 19°C inland and along the southern and eastern coasts, about 17°C on other coastal areas, and 10°C in the higher mountains.
Clearer skies tonight
Tonight, skies will be mostly clear with occasional cloudiness. Winds will be northwest to northeast, and along the northern coast southwest, weak at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to 8°C inland, around 11°C along the coasts, and 3°C in the higher mountainous areas.
Weather outlook for Tuesday to Thursday
- Tuesday and Wednesday: Partly cloudy conditions continue, with isolated showers possible on Wednesday.
- Thursday: Mainly cloudy skies with local showers and a few isolated thunderstorms expected.
Temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday will remain close to seasonal averages, while Thursday will bring a slight decrease.
