Limassol police chase ends with arrest of 32-year-old

Date:

A 32-year-old man has been arrested in Limassol for assaulting a police officer and committing multiple traffic offences.

At around 3:20 yesterday afternoon, members of the Limassol OPE (Emergency Response Unit) spotted a vehicle on Franklin Roosevelt Avenue running a red light. Police immediately activated the patrol car’s lights and siren. The driver accelerated, attempting to evade the officers by driving recklessly and dangerously.
