Serious car accident in Paphos injures 17-year-old

A serious car accident in Paphos occurred on Thursday night around 22:30 on Eratous Street.

According to initial information, a 20-year-old woman driving her car with two 18-year-old passengers struck and injured a 17-year-old who was attempting to cross the road.

The teenager was taken by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital, where doctors confirmed he had suffered fractures to his legs as well as bleeding in the lung and abdomen.

He is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of Paphos General Hospital, and his condition is considered serious.

A breathalyser test carried out on the driver showed zero alcohol levels. The Paphos Traffic Department is continuing its investigation into the circumstances of the car accident in Paphos.
