Armed burglars break into flat in Paphos, steal money and jewellery

Two residents were taken to hospital following an attack and robbery that occurred on Monday night inside their flat in Kato Paphos.

Specifically, according to the Police, at around 10:30 p.m., two unknown individuals, wearing hoods, entered the flat where two people, aged 29 and 26, reside.

It is added that, using a knife and physical force, they allegedly attacked the two occupants and seized an amount of money and jewellery of an as yet unknown value.

The injured parties were transported to Paphos General Hospital, where, after receiving first aid, they were discharged.

The case is being investigated by the Paphos Criminal Investigation Department.
