Hidden in a shopping bag and sent from Morocco to Italy to be sold. A dramatic journey that caused her health problems, such that she had to be taken to the hospital.
This is what happened to a newborn baby , according to investigations by the Turin police, who, on orders from the prosecutor’s office, stopped a Moroccan couple and arrested two other compatriots.
The former are seriously suspected of having illegally brought the newborn from Morocco, exposing her to danger for her life. The latter are accused of aiding and abetting and were arrested in flagrante delicto: in their home they were temporarily hosting the little girl, who is now well and who had been given by the mother to the woman of the arrested couple to be presumably sold to a third family.
