EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, said Sunday the bloc would soon “come up with” new initiatives on supporting Ukraine and strengthening its own defence.
In a post on X after an extraordinary informal meeting she convened in Munich of the EU Foreign Ministers who were there for the Munich Security Conference, Kallas said they were closing the event “with a good discussion among the EU foreign ministers still in Munich”.
“Europe stands strongly united in supporting Ukraine and strengthening our own defence”, Kallas said, adding that they would “soon come up with new initiatives to take this forward”.
