Beer deliveries up in January, but exports plunge

Date:

Beer deliveries from factories in January 2025 reached 1.82 million litres, marking a 6.3% increase compared to January 2024, according to data released Thursday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.

The growth was driven entirely by the domestic market, which recorded a 13.6% rise in beer deliveries.

However, exports fell to zero, leading to a 100% decline in international beer shipments. This follows an 82% rise in December 2024 but a significant fluctuation in the months prior.
