AKEL’s Central Committee convened on Saturday, 31 October, at 9:30 a.m., with the upcoming 2028 presidential elections at the centre of discussions.
The plenary session is taking place in the event hall on the third floor of the ETKA-PEO building in Nicosia.
The meeting focuses primarily on the party’s preparations for the 2028 presidential elections.
AKEL General Secretary Stefanos Stefanou is also scheduled to address the committee, with his speech open to media representatives.
