53-year-old in critical condition as initial findings emerge

The injury sustained by the 53-year-old man in Ayia Napa was caused by a fall to the ground, according to the latest examinations by the Police.

The man underwent surgery and is being treated in an extremely critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of Nicosia General Hospital, according to a newer police announcement.

Investigations by the Ayia Napa Police Station are continuing in order to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.

The 53-year-old was found injured on Eleftherias Street in Ayia Napa and was taken by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital. Later, due to the seriousness of his condition, he was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital.
