Which areas may be affected by today’s rainfall

This afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy and locally mostly cloudy. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the mountains and across the eastern half of the island, according to the Meteorology Department.

Tonight, increased cloud cover may bring isolated showers or a thunderstorm, mainly along the northern coast.

A weak low-pressure system affects the area.

This afternoon will be partly to mostly cloudy, with isolated showers and thunderstorms in the mountains and the east. Hail may fall during a storm. Winds will blow from the southwest to northwest, light to moderate (force 3 to 4 Beaufort), and at times strong (4 to 5). The sea will be slight to moderate on the western and northern coasts, and slight elsewhere.

Tonight, increased cloud may bring isolated showers or a thunderstorm, mainly along the northern coastline. Later, local fog may form, mainly inland. Winds will gradually shift northwest to north, light (force 3). The sea will turn slight in the west and north, and calm to slight elsewhere. Temperatures will drop to 11°C inland, around 13°C on the coasts, and 5°C in the highest mountains.

Tomorrow, after early local fog clears, the weather will turn mostly fine. At midday and in the afternoon, increased cloud may bring isolated showers, mainly in the mountains, inland areas and the southeast. Winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, light (force 3) at first, then moderate (3 to 4). The sea will remain calm to slight. Temperatures will reach 24°C inland and on the coasts, and 12°C in the highest mountains.

On Thursday, locally increased cloud may bring isolated light showers.
On Friday, medium and high cloud will increase.
On Saturday, local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, mainly from late afternoon onwards.

Temperatures will gradually rise until Saturday and exceed seasonal averages.
