Water supply cut in Nicosia due to pipeline fault

A water supply cut in Nicosia due to pipeline fault is affecting several urban and suburban areas, following a major failure in a central water pipeline located in Lakatamia, the Water Development Department (WDD) has confirmed.

According to the department’s announcement, the areas currently impacted by the disruption include Lakatamia, Anthoupoli, Deftera, Anageia, Ergates, and the Ergates industrial zone.

The WDD stated that it is working in collaboration with all relevant agencies to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and restore the water supply to affected areas.
