The deadline for voter registration in Cyprus is 2 April 2026 ahead of the parliamentary elections on 24 May 2026. All citizens aged 18 and above who have been residents in Cyprus for the past six months are eligible to vote.

Eligibility and application period

The Ministry of Interior stated that no new registrations or changes can be made to the electoral roll after 2 April. Young citizens who turn 18 by election day are also eligible, provided they apply during the latest quarterly revision period, from 3 January to 2 April 2026.

Turkish Cypriot citizens holding a Republic of Cyprus ID and residing in the government-controlled areas are also eligible to register.

How to apply

Applicants aged 25 and under can submit their forms online at elections.gov.cy.

Paper applications are available and can be submitted at District Administration Offices, Citizen Service Centres (KEP), and Cyprus Post Citizen Centres (KE.PO.). Forms can be collected from these locations, the Ministry of Interior, or the official elections website.
