Police have identified two individuals linked to a brawl in Ayia Napa that was captured on video, while investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
According to authorities, the incident took place yesterday in an open area and appears to have involved a total of six people. The brawl in Ayia Napa was reportedly being broadcast live through an online platform at the time it occurred.
Incident captured on video
Police said the incident was recorded by a passing citizen while the fight was in progress. Investigations were launched immediately after the footage came to the attention of authorities.
As part of the ongoing inquiries, officers located two individuals of British nationality.
Investigations continue
The two suspects were questioned by police and are being investigated in connection with participation in the Ayia Napa brawl.
Authorities said examinations remain ongoing as officers work to clarify all circumstances surrounding the incident and identify the remaining people believed to be involved.
