A video of a brutal assault on a young man last night in the centre of Nicosia has gone viral online.
The incident, as captured in the footage, took place on Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue in the heart of the capital. According to the police, the initial report received by authorities at around 11:00 PM mentioned a brawl involving 30 people at an entertainment venue.
Police officers arrived at the scene and found a 29-year-old man with facial injuries. An ambulance was immediately called, and the young man was transported to Nicosia General Hospital.
