The weather will be partly cloudy today, while thin dust may be present in the atmosphere. During the afternoon, cloud cover will increase and isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected, mainly in mountainous and inland areas.
Hail is possible in areas affected by thunderstorms.
Winds will initially be variable and light at 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming mainly south-westerly to westerly and moderate at 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough.
Temperatures will rise to 34°C inland, 30°C on the west coast, around 32°C on the remaining coasts and 26°C in the highest mountains.
Rain and storms overnight
The weather will gradually become mainly cloudy tonight, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms expected, initially in the west and north before spreading to other areas.
Hail is expected during thunderstorms, while some phenomena may be locally intense.
Winds will be mainly north-westerly and moderate at 4 Beaufort. Near thunderstorms, they will become variable with strong gusts.
Temperatures will fall to around 18°C inland and on the coasts and 14°C in the highest mountains.
Unsettled Friday before improvement
Low pressure is expected to affect the area until Friday.
On Friday, the weather will remain mainly cloudy, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms at intervals. Some of the phenomena may be locally intense, but conditions will improve significantly by late afternoon.
The temperature will drop on Friday, falling below the climatic average.
Mostly clear weekend
The weather will be mainly clear on Saturday and Sunday, although increased cloud cover will develop during the afternoon and may produce isolated showers or thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains.
Temperatures are expected to gradually rise over the weekend.
