Two Turkish Cypriots face 11 charges in court

Two Turkish Cypriots appeared before court on Friday in connection with a case involving a total of 11 offences.

According to Sigma correspondent Evangelos Evangelou, the two men appeared before the court for the issuance of a remand order, with proceedings still underway.

Charges under investigation

According to available information, the offences under investigation include conspiracy to commit a felony and a misdemeanour, as well as acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

The two men are also facing charges relating to malicious damage, along with various traffic offences and violations.

A total of 11 offences are being investigated against the two suspects.

Remand decision pending

The court proceedings concerning the request for their remand have not yet been completed.

The court’s decision on whether the two men will be remanded is expected.
