The Turkey Grand Prix will return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2027, with Istanbul and Istanbul Park set to host the race from 1 to 3 October under a five-year agreement.
The 2027 Formula 1 calendar was approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council and will feature 24 races across 22 countries.
Istanbul returns to Formula 1
Istanbul Park will host the Turkey Grand Prix from 1 to 3 October 2027.
The race will be held between the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, scheduled for 24–26 September, and the Singapore Grand Prix, which will take place from 8–10 October.
The agreement marks the return of the Turkey Grand Prix on a regular basis, with the five-year deal beginning in 2027.
24 races across 22 countries
The 2027 Formula 1 season will begin in Bahrain on 14 March, while the final race will take place in Abu Dhabi on 12 December.
The calendar includes 24 races in 22 countries, maintaining the championship’s expanded schedule.
The number of Sprint weekends will also increase from six in 2026 to 10 in 2027.

Sprint events in 2027 will be held in Bahrain, Australia, Japan, Canada, Monaco, Great Britain, Italy, Brazil, Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
The return of Istanbul Park means Turkey will once again feature among the championship’s race venues, with the Turkey Grand Prix scheduled as part of the autumn section of the 2027 calendar.
