Truck tractor burned in Limassol – Investigations underway at scene

A fire broke out in the early hours of Wednesday in Limassol, destroying a heavy goods vehicle owned by a company that had been parked in a field.

According to initial information, the fire erupted at around 1:30 am in a heavy goods vehicle (tractor unit) parked in an open field in Limassol.

Firefighters responded to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze. However, the vehicle was completely destroyed.

The exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage.

Authorities secured and placed the scene under guard, while examinations are set to continue at first light.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Limassol is investigating the case.
