For the third consecutive year, the Troodos residence will open its doors to the public, inviting visitors of all ages to attend “Pame Troodos 3” on Sunday, September 6, 2026.
The event will run from 11:00 to 18:00 and will celebrate the people, products, flavours and traditions of Cyprus’ mountain communities.
According to the Presidency, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the historic and symbolic site and meet local producers, craftspeople and creators whose work helps preserve Cyprus’ traditions and showcase the character of the countryside.
The event is being held on the initiative of First Lady Philippa Karsera Christodoulides and co-organised by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, the Office of the Commissioner for the Development of Mountain Communities and the Press and Information Office.
Supporting mountain communities
According to the Press and Information Office, the event aims to give the public access to landmark buildings of the Republic of Cyprus while supporting small businesses, producers and creators.
It will also promote local products and encourage tourism and sustainable development in mountain communities.
The event will once again have a charitable element, with this year’s proceeds supporting the Eleousa Elderly Care Home in Agros.
Music and activities for children
Visitors will be able to enjoy a Sunday featuring music, traditional Cypriot “tsiattista” poetic performances, demonstrations of traditional musical instruments and activities for children.
The event will take place in the natural surroundings of Troodos.
Free shuttle buses available
Two parking areas will operate for visitors: Troodos Square, next to the Meteorological Station, and the Troodos Environmental Information Centre.

Visitors are advised to bring their identity card or another official identification document to facilitate entry.
