Toddler in coma after brutal airport attack in Moscow

Date:

A horrifying airport attack in Moscow has left a two-year-old boy in a coma, after a man was caught on CCTV violently throwing the child to the ground at the arrivals hall.

Footage from a security camera shows the man loitering near the toddler before suddenly seizing and slamming him down with brutal force. The incident took place at a Moscow airport, where the suspect- posing as a passerby- appeared to wait for the right moment before launching the unprovoked assault.

The video shows the attacker pretending to bend down to pick up a suitcase before flipping the child upside down and hurling him to the floor. The boy immediately collapses and remains motionless.

Another man quickly intervenes, followed by a police officer, while the attacker continues to feign innocence. Authorities have identified the perpetrator as a 31-year-old Belarusian national, who was arrested on the spot.

Tragically, it has been confirmed that the child, who had just arrived in Moscow with his mother from Iran in a desperate bid to escape ongoing bombings, is now in a coma.

The airport attack in Moscow has sparked outrage across social media, with users demanding justice and expressing horror at the senseless violence. Russian authorities have launched an investigation.
