Third PAOK fan injured in Romania accident returns to Thessaloniki

20-year-old patient transferred under strict medical supervision

The third survivor of the tragic road accident in Romania involving PAOK fans is set to return to Thessaloniki today, 4 February.

The 20-year-old fan had remained hospitalised in Timișoara after undergoing surgery to stabilise his spine and reduce swelling. His condition is currently stable, and doctors are preparing for his transfer to Greece.

Medical precautions for transfer

The young fan remains intubated, and his transfer will take place under strict medical conditions to prevent any strain on his health. Authorities are taking every precaution to ensure a safe journey.

Official confirmation

Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis confirmed the transfer this morning on Action 24. He added that he has been in regular contact with the father of the injured fan, who survived the crash that claimed the lives of seven young PAOK supporters.
