In a modest ceremony held at Aphrodite Hills Resort (a member of Wavemaker Hospitality group), a cheque in the amount of €84.728 was officially presented to One Dream One Wish Association. The amount was raised through the successful organisation of the established Weekends of Love and Giving at Aphrodite Hills Resort, in collaboration with PERHA Group in December 2025, as well as from part of the net revenue generated from local bookings at the group’s hotel brands during the period April–October 2025.
It is worth noting that both the amount of €42.208 raised through the initiatives, generous sponsorships, activities, and stays that took place during the two editions of the established Weekend of Love and Giving at Aphrodite Hills Resort, as well as the amount of €42.520 raised from local bookings at hotels of other brands within the Wavemaker Hospitality group, demonstrate the powerful impact that can be created when businesses and society come together in support of a common cause.
The cheque was presented to the President of the Foundation, Mr. George Penintaex, by the co-CEO of Wavemaker Hospitality, Mr. Dimitris Nicolaides, and the General Manager of Aphrodite Hills Resort, Mr. Andreas Chrysostomou, in the presence of Ms. Marianna Hadjiandoniou, Founder of the PERHA Group.
In her statement, Mrs. Marianna Hadjiandoniou said:
“This initiative reflects our deep belief that business success gains real meaning when it is accompanied by social contribution. Supporting the One Dream One Wish Foundation is not merely a donation, but a meaningful investment in hope, strength, and the smiles of children who need it most. The Weekend of Love and Giving has been firmly established as a strong institution of social contribution, highlighting that when entrepreneurship is combined with responsibility, consistency, and vision, it can create a meaningful and lasting impact on society.

The Cyprus Association for children with cancer and related diseases “One Dream One Wish” was founded by a group of parents and friends of children suffering from cancer, leukaemia, and other haematological diseases.
All members of the Board of Directors, members, and friends of the Association offer their services voluntarily to achieve its objectives.
The main lines of activity of the Association are three: fulfilling the wishes of children with cancer, financial support for their families, and providing psychological support to both the children and their families.
