The Cyprus weather forecast for Monday points to mainly clear skies, though periods of increased cloud cover are expected in some areas. Light dust may also be suspended in the atmosphere at times.
Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to strong, at 4 to 5 Beaufort, occasionally reaching very strong levels of 5 to 6 Beaufort locally.
Temperatures will rise to around 28°C inland, the southwest and northern coasts, 26°C in the west, 31°C in the southeast and east, and 22°C in the higher mountains.
Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear with some local clouds. Winds will gradually weaken to light or moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and the sea will stay slightly rough. Overnight temperatures will fall to 18°C inland, 19°C on the coast, and 12°C in the mountains.
Tuesday will bring increased high and medium clouds, with isolated showers or storms possible in the south by afternoon.
Wednesday will start mostly clear before clouds build up, producing isolated mountain showers, while Thursday may see light scattered rain.
Temperatures will rise slightly through Wednesday and then dip slightly on Thursday, remaining close to or a little above average for the season.
