The Nicosia Municipality Multifunctional Foundation, in partnership with the British Council, has launched the Skills Lab for Young Women, a training program designed to equip women aged 18–29 with leadership and entrepreneurship skills.
The program kicks off in February at KEEAED, offering interactive sessions on Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:00 (14/02, 28/02, 14/03, 28/03), culminating in a networking and celebration event in April.
Hands-on workshops and key topics
The training sessions focus on building practical skills, confidence, and meaningful connections. Participants will explore:
- Negotiation and leadership skills
- Working with others and team collaboration
- Marketing and communication basics
Through hands-on workshops and participatory learning, the program fosters a supportive community while preparing young women for leadership roles and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Certification and networking opportunities
Participants who complete the program will receive a certificate of completion and can take part in a networking event to connect with peers, trainers, and stakeholders. The initiative also promotes collaboration and peer support, enhancing employability and entrepreneurial readiness.

The Skills Lab is implemented under the Cohesion Policy Programme “THALEIA 2021–2027”, co-financed by the European Union.
