Schedule water outage affects Larnaca tourist area

Date:

Water supply interrupted until 15:00

The Larnaca District Local Government Organisation (EOA Larnaca) has announced a scheduled water outage affecting the city’s tourist area today, 2 July.

The interruption began in the morning and is expected to continue until 15:00 while planned water network improvement works are carried out.

The affected area stretches from Larnaca Port to the CTO Beach.

Residents urged to use water carefully

EOA Larnaca said every effort will be made to minimise disruption and meet the area’s water supply needs during the outage.

Consumers are urged to use stored water from their private tanks carefully until normal supply is restored.

The authority also stressed that responsible water use will help address the ongoing drought affecting Cyprus.

Authority apologises for inconvenience

EOA Larnaca apologised for any inconvenience caused to residents, businesses and visitors during the planned works.
