Road access to Larnaca Airport Arrivals reopens tomorrow

Date:

Larnaca Airport access at the Arrivals level will reopen from tomorrow following an initiative by Justice and Public Order Minister Kostas Fytiris to address traffic congestion at the airport area.

According to an update from the Ministry of Justice, the decision follows a meeting convened by the Minister to identify solutions to the ongoing traffic problems.

Hermes Airports takes action

Following the meeting, Hermes Airports carried out the necessary measures to restore road access to the Arrivals level.

The reopening is expected to help reduce congestion at the Departures level, allowing smoother vehicle movement and improving service for both passengers and drivers using Larnaca Airport.

Measures aimed at improving airport traffic flow

The Ministry said the move will contribute to better traffic management around the airport, particularly during periods of increased passenger activity.

The restored access is intended to make arrivals and passenger pick-ups more efficient while easing pressure on the airport’s road network.
