Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online platform www.housing.moi.gov.cy, fully completed and accompanied by all required documentation, as outlined in the relevant Guide and Annex B of the Grant Scheme.
It is clarified that if the following certificates have not been obtained at the time of application submission, applicants may submit their application with a request to the Department of Lands and Surveys (DLS) to issue the following:
- Certificate of property investigation for the assignment of sales documents for a specific buyer (nationwide) for the applicant and their spouse/partner. This certificate is obtained from the District Land Offices via email.
- Certificate of property investigation for the cancellation of sales documents for a specific buyer (nationwide) for the applicant and their spouse/partner. This certificate is also obtained from the District Land Offices via email.
Once the above certificates are obtained, they must be submitted to the relevant District Administration as part of the application file for the Scheme.
For the requirement to submit a tax declaration to verify gross family income and whether it meets the income criteria of the Scheme, it is noted that applicants whose income from all sources does not exceed the taxable income threshold are not required to submit a tax declaration for Scheme purposes.
Finally, to prove permanent, legal, and continuous residence in the Republic of Cyprus for the past five years preceding the application date, Cypriot citizens may submit one of the following documents:
