Police seek missing man last seen in Nicosia

Police are seeking information to locate a 49-year-old Greek national who has been missing from his accommodation in Nicosia since September 7.

Georgios Grigoropoulos was last seen at around 1pm on September 7, according to a missing person report filed with police on September 10.

The missing man is described as approximately 1.75 metres tall, of medium build, with short, grey-white wavy hair, brown eyes and dark complexion. He is also noticeably missing some of his front teeth.

When he left his accommodation, Grigoropoulos was wearing a dark blue T-shirt, shorts and dark-coloured sports shoes.

Anyone who may have information that could help locate the missing man is asked to contact the Nicosia CID on 22-802222, the nearest police station or the Citizen’s Line on 1460.
