A van chase caused concern in the Ypsonas area of Limassol this morning after a van driver allegedly failed to comply with police officers’ instructions to stop for a check.
According to initial information, officers signalled the driver to stop, but he did not comply, prompting a pursuit.
Warning shots fired during pursuit
Warning shots were reportedly fired during the chase.
A strong police presence was deployed to the area, while a large number of people were also at the scene.
The van driver was reportedly arrested.
