A road crash occurred yesterday morning in the community of Potami, in Nicosia district, when a pickup truck collided with a wall.
The Fire Service received a call about the incident at 9.39am and responded with firefighting and rescue vehicles from the Lakatamia, Peristerona Rural and Evrychou fire stations.
Rescue teams worked at the scene and freed one person using rescue equipment.
The person was then handed over to an Ambulance Service crew and taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of Nicosia General Hospital.
