Candidates sit Economics, Chemistry and Technology exams
Three subjects were examined on Wednesday as part of the Pancyprian Exams 2026 programme, while no examinations will take place on Thursday due to a school holiday.
Candidates sat examinations in Economics, Chemistry and Technical School Technology (theoretical stream – 400, 402, 413, 414 and 416).
According to statistics based on candidates’ applications for participation in the Pancyprian Exams 2026, a total of 1,388 candidates registered for Economics, while 812 candidates sat Chemistry.
The Pancyprian Exams 2026 began on Monday, June 8, with Modern Greek, a compulsory subject for all candidates. Music Studies followed on Tuesday.
Exams resume on Friday
Following Thursday’s break, the Pancyprian Exams 2026 will continue on Friday, June 12, with English examinations and on Saturday, June 13, with Music Performance and Interpretation.
Second week schedule
The second week of the Pancyprian Exams 2026 includes:
- Monday, June 15: Mathematics, Ancient Greek, Technical School Technology (practical stream – 511, 515, 504, 507) and practical examinations.
- Tuesday, June 16: Spanish, Visual Arts Applications, Technical School Technology (practical stream – 509, 510, 517, 518) and practical examinations.
- Wednesday, June 17: Informatics, four-hour English for Technical Schools, Graphic Arts and practical examinations.
- Thursday, June 18: Italian, Health Education, Theatre Studies and practical examinations.
- Friday, June 19: Physics, History, Technical School Technology (practical stream – 500, 502, 503, 506, 513, 505, 508) and practical examinations.
Final week of examinations
The third and final week of the Pancyprian Exams 2026 includes:
- Monday, June 22: Biology, Latin and Technical School Architectural Design (theoretical stream).
- Tuesday, June 23: Accounting, Design and Technology, German and Technical School Technology (theoretical stream – 404, 409, 410, 417, 418, 419, 405).
- Wednesday, June 24: Russian, Freehand and Perspective Drawing, Turkish and four-hour Physics for Technical Schools.
- Thursday, June 25: Architectural and Technical Drawing, and French.
- Friday, June 26: Common Core Mathematics, the final examination of the 2026 session.
Practical examination venues announced
Meanwhile, the Examinations Service announced that the Practical Examination of the Pancyprian Exams 2026 will take place at the Makario Stadium, the Evangelos Florakis Sports Centre, Kykkos Stadium and the Nicosia Olympic Swimming Pool on June 17, 18 and 19.
