WTI and Brent climb in US trading
Oil prices moved higher on Sunday evening (local time) in early US trading, with both major crude varieties surpassing $110 per barrel. The market remains highly sensitive to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
WTI leads gains
The price of May-delivery US WTI crude rose 1.86%, reaching $113.62 per barrel. Meanwhile, Brent North Sea crude increased 1.16% to $110.30 per barrel, reflecting persistent market concerns over supply disruptions.
