Nicosia invites organisations to join Erasmus+ Festival 2026

Date:

The Erasmus+ Festival will take place in Nicosia on 17 October 2026, with the Municipality of Nicosia and the Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP) inviting organisations, educational institutions, youth bodies and Erasmus+ participants to join the event.

The NICOSIA ERASMUS+ FESTIVAL 2026 will be held on Saturday, 17 October, from 10:00 to 14:00 at Spyridakis Square and Makarios Avenue in Nicosia.

Showcasing European opportunities

The festival aims to become the largest Erasmus+ celebration in Cyprus, transforming the centre of the capital into an open space for knowledge, creativity, cooperation and European engagement.

Through interactive activities, cultural events and hands-on experiences, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the opportunities offered by Erasmus+ for people of all ages.

Participating organisations are invited to design creative activities presenting their Erasmus+ projects, experiences and results, while encouraging visitors to take part.

Activities for all ages

Suggested activities include:

  • Interactive workshops and creative crafts
  • Knowledge games and educational challenges
  • Digital experiences and project presentations
  • Cultural and artistic activities
  • Skills demonstrations and innovative practices
  • Presentations of Erasmus+ participant experiences
  • Activities for children, young people, families and adults

The festival aims to highlight the impact of Erasmus+ through participation and direct experience, allowing visitors to learn more about European programmes and their benefits.

Free participation for organisations

Participation in the Erasmus+ Festival is free and offers organisations the opportunity to promote their work, share good practices, build networks, encourage new participants and contribute to the promotion of European values, lifelong learning and mobility.

Throughout the event, Makarios Avenue will host music, DJ performances, presentations, dance activities, entertainment and interactive events, creating a festive atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

The event will also receive extensive promotion through the Municipality of Nicosia’s social media channels and media outlets, providing additional visibility for participating organisations.

Interested organisations must submit their participation proposals, including a short description of the activities they plan to organise, by Wednesday, 2 September 2026, via email to [email protected].
