Limassol: 30 arrested for illegal work, 5 without residence permits

A total of 30 people were arrested for illegal work in Limassol during a coordinated police operation carried out on Monday by members of the Aliens and Immigration Service (Limassol unit) and the Limassol Police Department.

According to police, all 30 individuals were found working illegally at a premises in Limassol. During subsequent checks, it was determined that five of them were also residing illegally in the Republic and were taken into custody.

The remaining 25 were formally questioned and released, while the manager of the company believed to have employed them was also charged in writing.

Investigations into the case of illegal work in Limassol are continuing under the supervision of the Episkopi Police Station.
