The Cyprus Police have arrested two more individuals in connection with a house burglary in the Larnaca district, where two hunting rifles were among the stolen items.
Details of the arrests
The latest suspects, aged 17 and 18, were arrested on 23 February under court-issued warrants as part of the ongoing investigation.
Earlier, a 17-year-old had been taken into custody on 22 February, also under a court warrant. He was presented to the Larnaca District Court, which approved a seven-day detention order for police investigations.
Burglary details
According to police reports, the break-in occurred during the night of 21–22 February at the residence of a 46-year-old in Larnaca. Items stolen included a gun safe containing two double-barrel hunting rifles, cash, and a separate safe with additional money.
Recovery of stolen items
On the evening of 22 February, police recovered the two firearms and the safe containing cash in the Larnaca area.
The investigation is being conducted by the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Unit (TAE).
