Larnaca: Roads closed for the “Cyprus Grand Road Prix Races”

Cyprus Grand Road Prix Races returns for 4th consecutive year in Larnaca on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Major road closures facilitate the motorsport event.

Saturday night closure

Saturday, January 10 from 9:00 p.m. until Sunday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m.:

  • Athens Avenue at its junction with Archbishop Makarios III Avenue remains fully closed.

Sunday morning restrictions

Sunday, January 11 from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.:

  • Finikoudes area: Piále Pasiá Street and Tasos Mitsopoulos Avenue closed completely.
  • Artemis Avenue: One direction closed from Tasos Mitsopoulos Avenue traffic lights toward Larnaca Airport.

Police implement traffic management on Artemis Avenue. Single lane converts to dual-direction flow accommodating both traffic directions.
