Larnaca Brussels direct flights launch December 1st

Transport Minister Alexis Vafeades and AEGEAN officials signed the Public Service Obligation (PSO) contract Friday for the new Larnaca-Brussels direct flights route.

The agreement runs from 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2026 and guarantees:

  • December 2025 → 3 round trips per week
  • January–June 2026 → 5 round trips per week (peak for Cyprus EU Presidency)
  • July 2026 → 3 round trips per week
  • August–November 2026 → 2 round trips per week

Maximum fully flexible one-way economy fare is capped at €400 including taxes, fuel surcharges, one 20–23 kg checked bag and meal.

Minister Vafeades stated the Larnaca Brussels direct flights will provide “reliable and stable connectivity with the heart of Europe” and strongly support Cyprus’s upcoming EU Council Presidency in the first half of 2026.
