Justice Minister briefs Cabinet on “Sandy” case

Cabinet briefed on developments

The update on the Sandy case was presented today to the Council of Ministers by Justice Minister Kostas Fytiris, who is expected to outline developments and propose next steps for handling the case.

According to official information, the minister will brief the Cabinet so that decisions can be taken regarding the future management of the case.

Minister informed by Police Chief

The Justice Minister stated that he had been informed about the latest developments by Police Chief Themistos Arnaoutis regarding the ongoing investigation into the Sandy case.

Following this briefing, the minister is expected to update the Cabinet accordingly and submit proposals for consideration.

Decisions to be taken by Cabinet

The Sandy case update will be discussed at the Cabinet level, where final decisions will be made on how the case should be handled going forward.

Asked whether he already has a specific proposal, the minister said he is obliged to inform the Cabinet and submit recommendations, stressing that decisions rest with the Council of Ministers.
