Israel against Turkey: Malicious stance from a country supporting the “Axis of Evil”

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations accuses Turkey of “malice” following a letter submitted by Ankara, signed by 52 countries, calling for a halt in arms shipments to Israel due to the war in Gaza, where Israel is fighting the terrorist organisation Hamas.

“What else could one expect from a country whose actions are driven by malice, aiming to create conflicts with the support of countries in the ‘Axis of Evil,’” states Ambassador Danny Danon, using a term commonly referring to Iran and its allies.

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday that it submitted the letter to the United Nations, with signatories including the Arab League and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
