George Perris to represent Cyprus in Eurovision 2027

The singer will represent the island at the Eurovision Song Contest, which is scheduled to take place in May 2027 in Burgas, Bulgaria.

The announcement was made by Cyprus’ public broadcaster, CyBC (RIK), on Wednesday morning and was subsequently shared by the official Eurovision account.

Public to choose Eurovision song

The song Perris will perform has not yet been selected.

Instead, a separate selection process will give the Cypriot public the opportunity to choose from a number of songs that the singer will perform.

Further details about the selection process and the competing songs are expected to be announced in due course.
