Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a travel advisory effective Tuesday 13 January 2026, advising Cypriot citizens to avoid all travel to Iran. Those currently in the country face urgent calls to depart while commercial flights remain available.
The directive cites Iran’s internal security situation and heightened risk of regional escalation. Citizens should avoid gatherings, demonstrations and maintain maximum vigilance.
