Eight suspects wanted for axe and gun clash in Larnaca

Eight suspects wanted by Police to assist investigations into a clash and gunfire in Larnaca on 17 January 2026. Authorities list four Palestinians and three Jordanians among the wanted individuals.

The incident occurred in a busy commercial area on Saturday.

The suspects include:

  1. Allam J.J Abualsoud (26, Palestine)
  2. Mohammad N.N Almadi (25, Palestine)
  3. Anas A.S Alabit (25, Palestine)
  4. Wesam Y.J. Joha (31, Palestine)
  5. Abulweimer Ahmed N.A (35, Palestine)
  6. Kareem Mohammad Abdul Kareem Azzazi (19, Jordan)
  7. Ahmad Mohammad Abdul Kareem Azzazi (26, Jordan)
  8. Yazan Mohammad Abdul Kareem Azzazi (25, Jordan)

Serious charges listed

Investigators probe multiple offences from the confrontation. Charges include conspiracy to commit felony and misdemeanour, illegal possession and transport of firearms and explosives, extortion, threats for property gain, criminal organisation membership, grievous bodily harm assault, threats, offensive weapon possession, carrying knives, and arms possession to cause terror.
