Dugin: “Erdoğan, you betrayed Russia, the end of Turkey has begun”

Date:

The well-known ultranationalist Russian philosopher Alexandr Dugin has sent a highly threatening message to Turkey and President Erdogan in response to developments in Syria.

In a post on X, Dugin accused Erdoğan of betraying Russia and warned that the “end of Kemal’s Turkey” has begun.

“Syria was a trap for Erdoğan. He has made a strategic mistake. He has betrayed Russia. He had betrayed Iran. He is doomed. Now the end of Kemal’s Turkey has begun, we have supported you. Until now. From now on you’ll repent,” he wrote.

Some commentators have described the far-right philosopher as “Putin’s brain” or “Rasputin.” However, others dismiss the idea that Dugin is taken seriously within the Kremlin, citing the fact that he lost his position at Moscow State University in 2014.

Dugin is also known to have notable ties with the the pseudo-state.
