Firefighters freed a woman trapped inside a vehicle following a Lakatamia road crash involving two vehicles on Sunday evening.
According to a Fire Service statement, the call about the road collision was received at 8:42pm.
The Lakatamia Fire Station responded with a vehicle and rescue team, as well as a fire engine.
Firefighters worked to release the driver of one of the two vehicles. The woman was then placed on a rescue board and handed over to an ambulance crew.
She was taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of Nicosia General Hospital for further medical treatment.
