Police have released the details of the 65-year-old hit by a bus in Limassol earlier this year.
Doru-Gheorghe Spataceanu, aged 65 and from Romania, succumbed to his injuries on Monday afternoon.
The victim had been hospitalised in a private hospital in Limassol following a serious road collision that occurred on 4 September 2025.
According to police, the incident took place when, under circumstances still being investigated, a bus driver reversed the vehicle, hitting the 65-year-old who was standing behind it and causing him serious injuries.
The 65-year-old hit by the bus in Limassol was taken to hospital in critical condition but did not survive his injuries. The Limassol Traffic Department continues its investigation into the case.
