Dead dog found with fire burns on its body – Police investigating

At 11:30 today, a report was received at Kiti Police Station regarding a dead dog found in the area of Tersefanou village. Police officers went to the scene, where they located a deceased dog showing visible burn marks from fire on its body. At a distance of around ten metres, there was an area of scorched dry vegetation.

The dog was collected by police officers and transferred to the Veterinary Services, where a formal post-mortem examination has been scheduled for the coming days.

Kiti Police Station is continuing investigations.
