Winds will initially blow from the southwest to northwest, weak to moderate at 3–4 Beaufort, but will gradually shift to southern directions, becoming generally moderate to strong, locally very strong at 4–5 Beaufort. Later, coastal areas exposed to wind may experience gusts up to very strong, 5–6 Beaufort.

Seas will be slightly rough to rough, becoming rougher in the west and south by the afternoon. Temperatures will reach around 18 °C inland, 19 °C along the coast, and 7 °C in higher mountainous areas.

Cloudy night with showers and frost in the mountains

Tonight, the weather will remain mostly cloudy with local showers and isolated thunderstorms possible. Snow or sleet is expected on the higher Troodos peaks and locally on other highlands. Winds from southern directions will strengthen further, blowing moderate to strong inland at 4–5 Beaufort and strong to very strong on the coasts and mountains at 5–6 Beaufort.

Seas will remain rough. Temperatures will fall to around 11 °C inland, 15 °C along the coast, and 4 °C in the high mountains, where frost may form in sheltered areas.

Continued rain, thunderstorms and snow from Friday to Saturday
