Cyprus will host the the 2nd International Defence and Security Conference “BATTLEFIELD ReDEFiNED 2024” on December 12 an 13.
More specifically, the Cyprus Association of Research and Innovation Enterprises (CARIE), in collaboration with C.D Multimedia Services and the leading Cypriot companies in the Defence and Security sector, will be organizing the 2nd International Defence and Security Conference “BATTLEFIELD ReDEFiNED 2024”.
A press release issued by the Association said that the conference, the largest of its kind in Cyprus, will take place at the Pavilion Hall in Nicosia, under his auspices Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCC) and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus.
The conference, which is supported by Cypriot and foreign organisations, including the Research and Innovation Foundation and the Associations of Defence Equipment Manufacturers of Greece, aims in highlighting the innovations and initiatives of the Cypriot defence industry, within the framework of the European Defence Ecosystem.
Among other things, the topics of the conference will focus on the new technological trends and the challenges presented by the unstable geopolitical environment of the region, the press release said.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in areas such as Multi-domain and network-centric operations, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Unmanned Aerial (UAVs) and Ground (UGVs) Systems, Cyber security, Electronic warfare, surveillance systems, missile systems, simulators, satellite technologies and more
At the same time, more than 20 companies and organizations from Cyprus and abroad will present in a specially designed space a wide range of defence systems, many of which will be presented for the first time in Cyprus.
The conference will be open for public and private sector decision makers, companies active in the defence industry, research and dual-use technologies, members of the Armed Forces and Security Force, academics, students and experts of the Defence and Security ecosystem
