Cyprus and Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry officials meeting

Cyprus question, regional and international issues, as well as bilateral relations were discussed on Monday during a meeting between the Permanent Secretary of the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Andreas Kakouris, and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Roman Vassilenko, in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana.

According to a post by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus on the “X” platform, there were “productive political consultations between Cyprus Permanent Secretary Ambassador Andreas Kakouris and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Roman Vassilenko today in Astana.”

The two men “exchanged views ranging from strengthening and advancing bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation,” the post said, adding that the Cyprus question, as well as, other regional and international issues were on the agenda.
